This is description
Not all the film’s comedy comes from Italy. Some of it is pure, uncut friendship at its most honest. Midway through the trip, Matt video‑chats with his two best friends back home. They see his Ed Sheeran T‑shirt and can‘t let it slide: “You’re wearing an Ed Sheeran shirt? You‘re almost sixty.” Matt shrugs: “I like what I like.” Then they notice his hoop earring. “What’s wrong with the hoop?” Matt asks. One friend delivers the knockout: “It‘s the kind of thing a pirate would wear—or somebody’s grandma.” The argument escalates. The second friend tries to play peacemaker: “This is getting a little toxic.” It doesn‘t work. The two friends immediately start arguing with each other, leaving poor Matt caught in the middle of a squabble he never started. It’s a perfectly awkward, hilariously relatable reminder that sometimes the people who love you most are also the ones who will roast you relentlessly—and then forget why they were mad.
