Creedence Clearwater Revival made their debut appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1969.
CCR left a lasting impression with their performance of “Proud Mary.” The song, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, became one of 14 consecutive Top 10 singles the 1993 Inductees released between 1969 and 1971.
