The Foreign Secretary has been awkwardly confronted over comments he made about the US President during the 2016 election campaign.
At the time, Miliband described Trump as an idiot, a racist and a misogynist.
Now he is in Washington, meeting senior figures close to the President, those remarks are coming back to haunt him.
Some say Miliband should apologise. They argue Britain needs a strong relationship with America, and the Foreign Secretary should not let old insults get in the way of diplomacy.
Others say he should not back down. They argue politicians should not have to pretend they never held strong views, and that apologising now would look weak and dishonest.
So should Ed Miliband say sorry to Donald Trump, or should he stand by what he said?
