Masappadi Case | പ്രതിപക്ഷ നേതാവ് പിണറായി വിജയൻ, മുഹമ്മദ് റിയാസ് എംഎൽഎ, വീണ ടി എന്നിവർക്കെതിരെ കേസെടുക്കണം എന്ന ഇ ഡി നിർദ്ദേശത്തിൽ വിജിലൻസ് ക്വിക്ക് വെരിഫിക്കേഷൻ നടത്തും. ഇന്നോ നാളെയോ അന്വേഷണം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ച് സർക്കാർ ഉത്തരവ് ഇറങ്ങും. കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യാമെന്നും ഏതുതരത്തിലുള്ള അന്വേഷണം വേണമെന്ന് സർക്കാരിന് തീരുമാനമെടുക്കാം എന്നുമായിരുന്നു അഡ്വക്കേറ്റ് ജനറലിന്റെ നിയമോ പദേശം. രാഷ്ട്രീയപ്രേരിതമെന്ന ആരോപണം ഉയരാൻ ഇടയുള്ളതിനാൽ കൂടുതൽ തെളിവുകൾ സ്വീകരിച്ച ശേഷം മതി എഫ്ഐആർ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യുന്നതെന്നാണ് സർക്കാർ നിലപാട്.

The government is expected to issue an order announcing the probe today or tomorrow. The Advocate General's legal advice was that a case could be registered and that the government could decide what type of investigation should be conducted. However, the government maintains that the FIR should be registered only after gathering more evidence, as there could be allegations that the move is politically motivated.
