I have a whole system of which shirts I will and won't wear to important meetings. Dark colors only.
I had a whole color-coded system for which shirts I'd wear to stressful meetings, and a blazer permanently stationed at my desk just in case. This video covers what actually changed that, beyond just darker colors and extra layers. Within a couple weeks the system mattered less, and within a month I wore the shirt I actually wanted to a big presentation.
